Upendra Rai Journalist Wiki and Biography: Upendra Rai is a 36 year old, popular Indian journalist and CEO of his own media house ‘The Printlines Media Group’. Upendra Rai, earlier worked as editor-in-chief at Tehalka and also worked as group CEO and editor in chief at Sahara News Network till 2016.

Upendra Rai has born on 16th January 1982, in Sherpur village, Ghazipur. He completed his graduation from Lucknow University. He has done his MBA from NMIMS. He started his career with Sahara News Network in 1997. He also joined Star News, Network 18 and CNBC Awaaz respectively. Upendra Rai moved back to Sahara News Network again in 2009 as Editor.

Recently, CBI books Upendra Rai for allegedly indulging in dubious financial transactions in his accounts worth over Rs 100 crores and using false information to obtain access to sensitive areas through Aerodrome Entry Pass (AEP) for all airports across the country. The agency on Thursday also searched eight places in Delhi, Noida, Lucknow and Mumbai in connection with the case.
