Rinku Rajguru of ‘Sairat’ Fame Wins ‘Special Mention National Award’
Rinku Rajguru makes her acting debut in Nagraj Manjule film Sairat. She has received immense love from the audience as well as a special mention for her acting debut in Sairat at the National Awards.
Rinku says, “Nagraj Manjule, the director of the film showed immense confidence in me and I’m happy that I have made him proud. I’m playing a free-spirited village girl in the film and had a blast essaying the role. This award has encouraged me to work harder. My phone has not stopped ringing ever since the award was announced; and I’m enjoying this moment to the fullest. It was great when my parents called me up and said they are proud of me. I’m planning to treat my friends and colleagues soon.”
Rinku Rajguru receives her special award from the President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee at the 63rd National Awards ceremony held in New Delhi.
