Panipat is a upcoming historical period-drama hindi movie starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Panipat movie is directed by Bollywood ace director Ashutosh Gowarikar and produced by Sunita Gowariker & Rohit Shelatkar under the banner of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions & Distributed by Vision World.

Panipat Movie Story:

The movie is based on third battle of Panipat that took place in 1761 between the Maratha Empire and the invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, supported by two Indian allies – the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh and concluded in Afghan victory.
