Mithun Chakraborty Joins BJP: West Bengal!
Today, the National Award-winning Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty joined the Bharatiya Janta Party. The dancing legend became a part of Bharatiya Janta Party weeks before West Bengal assembly polls begins i.e. from 27th March.
Chakraborty arrived at the ground at around 12 noon & was welcomed by the #BJP’s National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargi, State Party Chief Dilip Ghosh & other state leaders including Mahabharat actress Rupa Ganguly at #Kolkata’s iconic Brigade Parade ground. People in large numbers gathered at Brigade Parade Ground for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public rally.
Chakraborty makes his comeback into politics with BJP. He was a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and had a long association with the ruling party, Trinamool Congress in Bengal. But he resigned from Rajya Sabha citing health reason in the year 2016.
