Indian App ‘Chingari’ become Top Downloaded App after ‘Tik Tok’ Ban
After the government of India on Monday decided to ban 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, a desi alternative Indian app ‘Chingari’ is getting huge response and has crossed more than 2.5 million downloads in few days. Today the total number of download on the app is 5+ million downloads and 4.1 rating on Google play store.
Chinese App Tiktok has suddenly started losing its base in Indian market soon after ‘Chingari’ made inroads into the digital entertainment world. #TikTokBan has opened up the short-video market and several other local players are like #Roposo and #Mitron are also gaining popularity as lesser-known TikTok alternatives made in India.

He tweets after #Chingari App crosses 2.5 million downloads, “I hadn’t ever downloaded TikTok but I have just downloaded Chingari. More power to you,”
