Elyments app is India’s first official social media ‘super app’ launched by India’s Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on 5th July 2020. The new social media app is launched under Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaign.
The Elyments app is claimed to compete with social media giants like Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram.

The users can make free audio and video calls including conference calls.
A marketplace for buyers and sellers with secured payments options through Elyments Pay.
Like other social media platforms, Elyments app also has feeds, the discover option where you can follow celebrities, athletes, politicians, etc. Other feature like the camera for photography using filters while clicking photos.
The official website says, that they have given importance to users data security and privacy and will not be shared to any third party without users consent or permission. Data of users will be stored in India.

On the very first day of the launch, Elyments app has already been downloaded over 100,000 times.
The app is free and can be download from both iOS and Android platforms and is also available in the 8 Indian languages.
As of now, the app has 1M+ downloads and have already reviewed by 41K user. The app has scored 4/5 user rating on Google play store.
After a recent ban on 59 Chinese apps, the demand for made in India apps like Mitron, Chingari, Roposo and Elyments have increased.
