The King of Comedy – Kapil Sharma is a stand-up comedian, Actor, Host and a singer. He is one of the most famous Indian comedians. He possesses a great sense of humor which made his show Comedy Nights with Kapil the biggest hit all around the world. Kapil has made his film debut in Bollywood with Abbas Mustan’s comedy movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu.
Mr Talented, Kapil Sharma was born in Amritsar, Punjab on April 2, 1981. He completed his schooling from Shri Ram Ashram Sen. Sec. School and college from Hindu College in Amritsar. From his school and college days, he was attracted to acting. He has struggled a lot to reach to become the undisputed king of comedy. Kapil Sharma life is an inspiration to many and proves that continues hard work can turn impossible things into possible.
Kapil Sharma belongs to a middle-class family. His father Jitendra Kumar was head constable in Punjab Police and mother Janak Rani is a housewife. He lost his father due to cancer. Kapil has two siblings Ashok Sharma and Pooja Sharma. He took the acting course after his college. Then he moved to Mumbai to start his career as a theatre artist. Kapil Sharma then successfully worked on the comedy show Haste Hasaate Raho that was telecast on the MH One. In which he was spotted as the best comedian. Soon after this, he got an another TV show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.Since then he never saw back and moved ahead winning with one after one comedy shows. He also won Comedy Circus series continuously. He also became a host at Jhalak Dikhlaja Season 6. Kapil Sharma also produced his Show Comedy Nights with Kapil under his banner name K9 Production, which proved to be the revolutionary comedy show in Indian television history.
After his grand success in Comedy Nights with Kapil, Kapil Sharma is now back with his next show titled The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV.
Along with his team Ali Asgar, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Chandan and Sumona, the show will be aired on Sony at 9:00 pm from April 23.
He is also an excellent singer. Kapil has lent his soulful voice for a Punjabi film, ‘Love Punjab’.
Kapil Sharma will marry his girlfriend Preeti Sminoe soon ahead this year. He met Preeti Sminoe in the sets of ‘Comedy Circus’.
